When should I have my Land Rover serviced?
Defenders and Freelanders should be serviced every 12,000 miles or 12 months, whichever is soonest. The Freelander 2 and Discovery 3 should be serviced every 15,000 miles. The new model Range Rover and Range Rover Sport have automatic servicing indicators. Regular servicing is crucial for your car's efficiency – clogged air filters can increase fuel consumption by 10%. Incorrect tyre pressure and wheel alignment, or fitting off-road tyres for road use will all damage your fuel efficiency.
